I’ve been shopping again and using some online shopping sites to help me get the best deals possible. One of those sites is dealsp.us, an online shopping community where members post deals and coupons and you can save deals and coupons to review later on.

dealspl.us is a nicely designed site that makes it easy to find deals and coupons. The site search works well if you are looking for a particular item. Browsing deals is a breeze because  deals are listed in easy to navigate categories. You can also browse deals and coupons by stores which is a great feature especially for those who enjoy shopping select stores. I like the grid view of browsing but you can also change to row view.

dealsp.us uses a rating systems that helps the best deals show up on the front page and bury bad or duplicate deals. If you like a deal you click on the plus and that increases the deals rating as well as bookmarking the deal to your profile. You can also comment on a deal as to whether you like the product or not and why.  Lastly, you can flag a deal as to whether it is a dead deal, duplicate, bad link, spam, inaccurate or no value. This rating system helps good deals get to the front page and bury bad deals.

Another feature of dealspl.us shopping community is member levels. Member levels help other members see who is contributing the most to the community. Levels are based on a variety of items including the number of comments that you have posted, number of deals that you have submitted, number of published deals to the front page you have posted, number of pluses that your deals have received and the number of members that you have generated by invitation. The more active a member you are, the higher your level. I have already reached level 3 mostly by the number of deals I have submitted.

Submitting deals is easy and really what makes dealspl.us a viable site to go to when looking for the best shopping deals. I really like the ease in which I have been able to post deals and it is apparent that other members of the community have as well. All you need is the url to post the deal, a brief description, url for a photo of the item, original price and sale price. The application makes this process very simple and straight forward.
